Believe it or not, men yeast infection does exist. It is not just a terrible affliction against women, although women are generally the ones who pass it along to their male partners when sexual intercourse is had without wearing a condom.
Yeast is an aggressive fungus that loves to hide in warm, wet places. His crotch is the perfect place for these transferred yeast cells to multiply and cause the sometimes unbearable symptoms of yeast infection. Once these yeast cells come into contact with a man’s penis, he is at a very high risk of experiencing the same symptoms that his female partner has experienced–and probably on more than one occasion.
The itching and redness on the head and shaft of his penis should tip him off that something is amiss in his private area. When the itching persists and is to the point of being intolerable and embarrassing, he might then realize that he has a yeast infection.

He may also experience pain during urination, pain during intercourse, and possibly a slight discharge. Abstaining from sexual intercourse until the infection is cleared up by both partners is highly advised in order to stop from spreading the yeast cells back and forth to each other.
Although the most common place for a man to have a yeast infection is his penis, men can also get yeast infections of the mouth or on his skin. Again, similar symptoms of rashes, itchiness, and swelling are protocol for these types of yeast infections.
